Lyons to celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

John W. and Cheryl (Franzen) Lyon of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
They were married in Washington, IA at St. James Catholic Church in 1975. They are the parents of Russell J. Lyon of Upper Sandusky, OH and Lisa Lyon of Findlay, OH.
Mr. Lyon is retired from the C&O Railway and as treasurer of the Upper Sandusky Community Library. Mrs. Lyon was born and raised in Washington, IA, graduated from WHS with the class of 1973 and after their marriage was a stay at home mom raising their children. She has worked at the Upper Sandusky Community Library part-time ever since.
