M.U.M. plans seminars on educational change
The Maharishi University of Management education department is planning a series of colloquia on educational change.
The first seminar will be ?The Power to Change: Improving Schooling in America? at 7:45 p.m. Jan. 23 in Festival Hall of the Argiro Center.
The first seminar will feature Jamie Vollmer, speaker, consultant, champion of public education and author of the book ?Schools Cannot Do It Alone.?

Respondents will be Fairfield Community School District Superintendent Art Sathoff and Maharishi School head Richard Beall.
Christopher Jones, dean of teaching and learning at M.U.M. will be moderator.
The event is open to the public.
The colloquia are designed as presentations and open forums around the general theme of innovation and progress in American education.
