Mabel Marie Foss, daughter of Arthur John and Emma Matilda Riff Mechler, was born, October 9, 1926 in rural San Antonio, Texas. She departed this life, Sunday, February 17, 2019, in Camdenton, Missouri at the age of 92.

On November 25, 1944, she was united in marriage to Darrell Walter Foss and to this union two children were born. Together they shared nearly sixty-three years of marriage before his passing May 4, 2007.

Survivors include her son, Thomas W. Foss and wife Sarah of Snellville, Georgia; her daughter, Judy Zickefoose of Camdenton, Missouri; six grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Mabel was born and raised in Texas. She met and married Darrell and later moved to Salem, Iowa where she was a homemaker until the 1960's. She worked at DeJayne's Jewelry Store before they retired to Camdenton, Missouri in the late 1970's.

Funeral services were held Thursday, February 21, 2019 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri with burial in Allee Memorial Gardens, Camdenton.

Memorial donations may be made to Lake Regional Hospital Volunteer Program and left at the funeral home.
