How will your high school experiences help you in the coming years? I have been very involved in 4-H and FFA, so I have a background in agriculture. I have also learned how to manage my time between different activities.
Fondest memory of high school? One of the fondest memories from high school for me is decorating homecoming hallways. Everyone in the grade comes together to plan and get it done even though it is stressful, we make the most of it and have a lot of fun.
Which teachers have had the biggest impact on you and why? Some teachers that have had a big impact on me is my ag teacher Miss Orr. She wants the best for all of her students and gives us opportunities outside of the classroom to learn. As well as my math teacher Mrs. Hutcheson. She always has a smile on her face and is an amazing teacher to learn from.
Who is your role model and how did they influence you? My role models are my older sisters. I know I can always go to them for advice and help. They have influenced me because we all have similar interests so I have gotten to watch them do and accomplish things to be proud of.
What is special about your high school? Something that is special about my high school is how many opportunities there are for everyone. We have so many different clubs and activities especially for a small school so everyone can find where they fit in.
If you could go back to when you were a freshman, what advice would you give yourself? I would say to give yourself grace and enjoy your time in high school because you only get four years of it.
