Maggie Baker is a senior at Keota High School and a member of the 76 Progressives 4-H Club. She is the daughter of Rich and Deidra Baker and she has one brother, Marty.
As a 4-H'er, Baker has participated in the project areas of Food and Nutrition, Photography, Home Improvement and Sewing. Other 4-H activities include County Council, Leadership Development, and 2014 First Runner-Up of the Washington County Fair Queen Contest.
Highlights of her years in 4-H are bowling parties with her club.
?4-H gave me awesome opportunities and best friends as well as skills to improve my life,? said Baker.
Baker has also participated in volleyball, basketball, track, softball, National Honor Society, speech, Silver Cord, drama, FFA, newspaper, yearbook, Eagle Rock!, Model UN, dance team, band, choir, and DARE role model.
She plans to attend the University of Iowa and study Health Sciences and Human Physiology.
