Maharishi defeats New London
The Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment boys? basketball team defeated New London 52-44 in overtime Friday at the Maharishi Fieldhouse.
Giovanni Cingire tied the game for MSAE with a turn around jumper in the lane in the closing minute of the game. Surya Sawhney, who finished with 23 points, 15 rebounds, six blocks and three steals, made seven free throws in overtime to seal the win.

Giovanni Cingire tied the game for MSAE with a turn around jumper in the lane in the closing minute of the game. Surya Sawhney, who finished with 23 points, 15 rebounds, six blocks and three steals, made seven free throws in overtime to seal the win.
Cingire finished with 15 points, eight rebounds and four steals. David Fleshman grabbed five rebounds and Suraj Pullapantula scored eight points.
MSAE (3-14) lost to New London 83-47 earlier this season. The Pioneers host Van Buren on Tuesday.
