Main Street Mount Pleasant announces the return of the Exterior Improvement Grant

Mount Pleasant — Main Street Mount Pleasant would like to announce the return of the Exterior Improvement Grant. Applications will be available in the Main Street office beginning Aug. 6, 2025. “We are incredibly thankful to the City of Mount Pleasant for their generous contribution to this grant fund,” said Main Street Director Lisa Oetken. “We anticipate several downtown businesses and building owners will again take advantage of this program.”

The Exterior Improvement Grant was started by Main Street Mount Pleasant in 2003 to encourage property owners and tenants in downtown Mount Pleasant to do exterior renovations on their properties. This grant has helped with numerous projects over the years.
