MakeIT Place will offer classes

The MakeIT Place is coming right along here at the Washington Public Library! For those who may not know what this mysterious place is, I will be glad to share. Our MakeIT Place is a place for patrons of all ages to come and create a variety of projects ranging from T-shirts, to pottery, to laser engraving, plus we will have a recording/podcast room.

Jenisa and I were privileged to attend a pottery class in Burlington the last two weekends and it was so much fun. I had never had the opportunity to do pottery before and it was quite the experience. I was impressed how much better my second piece was compared to the first one in just a short amount of time. Even my glazing was better the second time.

The library will be offering classes in most every offering we will have available. We are busy finalizing supplies, setting up schedules, and learning about all these new opportunities to better serve our patrons.
