March art walk focuses on youth art
Youth art will be featured during the March Fairfield 1st Fridays Art Walk.
Art walkers can stop in at the Fairfield Public Library from 6-8:30 p.m. Friday to see the exhibit of art created by students at Fairfield High School, Fairfield Middle School, Libertyville, Pence and Washington elementary schools, Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment and by participants of Go-Jindy.

Youth art will be featured during the March Fairfield 1st Fridays Art Walk.
Art walkers can stop in at the Fairfield Public Library from 6-8:30 p.m. Friday to see the exhibit of art created by students at Fairfield High School, Fairfield Middle School, Libertyville, Pence and Washington elementary schools, Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment and by participants of Go-Jindy.
In addition, to the art on display, FHS will have Individual Speakers Night starting at 7 p.m. in the library?s meeting room.
The evening also will include music performed by high school students, and refreshments will be served.
Plus, youth services librarian Afton Hallauer said a crafts and a story time corner for kids is planned.
As always, Fairfield galleries and shops will be open during art walk, each setting its own hours.
The Carnegie Historical Museum is open from 6-9 p.m. during each Fairfield 1st Fridays Art Walk event.
