Marcille McAllister, 94, of New London, formerly Mount Union, died Saturday, June 1, 2019. She was born March 3, 1925 to Carl and Alma VanOsdol Smith. On November 20, 1943 she married Keith McAllister. He died in 2004.

She was a graduate of Danville High School and a member of the Mt. Union United Methodist Church and TTT. Following high school she traveled to Washington D.C. where she worked for the FBI for a short time. Marcille was a lovely homemaker and farmwife. She helped out at Old Threshers and enjoyed time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include children; Kenneth McAllister, Mt. Union; Pam Smith, West Burlington; Travis McAllister, Morning Sun; daughter-in-law, Cindy McAllister, Mt. Union; nine grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren with one on the way; three great-great-granddaughters; and sister Lola Wick, Cherry Valley, Illinois.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded by son, Tim and sister, Helen Bailey.

The service will be at 2:00 PM, Monday at Mt. Union United Methodist Church with Pastor David Morris officiating; burial at Trinity Cemetery. The family will greet friends at 1:00 until the service. Memorials are for the church or TTT Campers. Online condolences; www.elliottfuneralchapel.com.
