Washington — Marion Avenue Baptist Church is inviting the entire community to experience an evening of food, fellowship, and culture at its International Dinner on Saturday, Aug. 23, at 6 p.m. at the church, 221 W. Washington St., Washington, Iowa.
This free event will showcase authentic dishes from Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy the rich variety of flavors the world has to offer — all under one roof in Washington, Iowa.
“It’s more than just trying international dishes,” said Pastor Joseph Brown of Marion Avenue Baptist Church. “It’s about experiencing cultures, connecting with neighbors, and creating a welcoming space where everyone feels at home.”
The evening promises a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere where guests can enjoy food, fellowship, and community connection. Admission is free, and all are welcome — no registration required.
