Martha Washington Questers visit Van Buren

Van Buren County was the destination for Martha Washington Questers No. 1032 in September.
The group of 10 traveled scenic backroads to Bonaparte, arriving in time for lunch at Bonaparte’s Retreat, where delicious food and pie were served.
Moving on to Cantril, members spent time at teh Dutchman’s Store, shop-looking and purchasing material, produce, groceries, candy, shoes and any number of items that couldn’t be passed up. The next stop for part of the group was the dairy at Milton.
Although we encountered rain for most of the day, the field trip was a great outing for those attending. Time and place for the October meeting will soon be announced.
