Graduating high school seniors as well as county residents returning to school are eligible. Applications are available at all Washington County high schools, at the Washington County Extension office or on the web at http://www.extension.iastate.edu/washington/sites/www.extension.iastate.edu/files/washington/Scholarship%20Application%202016.pdf
The completed applications are due April 15, 2016, and should be sent to Nancy Adrian at the Washington County Extension office.
The mission of the Master Gardener Program is to provide current, research-based, home horticulture information and education to the citizens of Iowa through Iowa State University Extension programs and projects. Through their participation in educational activities, Master Gardeners also increase their own personal knowledge in horticulture. Master Gardeners extend Iowa State University Extension?s consumer horticulture education programs through volunteer activity.
