Matchups set for SEISC boys shootout

Matchups have been set for the 2012 Southeast Iowa Super Conference boys? basketball shootout.

The shootout, scheduled Friday, pits teams that finished in the same position in their respective divisions against each other. This season, south division teams will host their north counterparts in all games but the championship, which will take place at Southeast Community College.

Van Buren and Pekin have both earned the No. 4 spot in their respective divisions and will face each other for the first time this season in Keosauqua. Friday?s game could very well be a preview of things to come with both teams landing in the same postseason district. Meanwhile, Cardinal will host Highland in the No. 8 game and Maharishi School is set to take on Wapello at No. 9.

Prior to the varsity matchups, each schools? JV teams will take the court at 6 p.m. with varsity contests to follow.
