Matteson Scholarship applications now open

In 2020, The Matteson Scholarship was relaunched in Southeast Iowa by The Keokuk Area Community Foundation and The North Lee Community Foundation. In 2020, $78,000 in Matteson Scholarships were awarded.
The 2021 Matteson Scholarship Application has now opened to accept new Matteson Scholarship recipients. The Matteson Scholarship is a renewable scholarship for four years. Each Matteson Scholarship is up to $2,000 a year for the first two years and then up to $4,000 for years three and four.
The Matteson Scholarship will be awarded to high school seniors, as well as continuing education students pursuing studies in Agriculture, Health/Medical Sciences, Nursing, Engineering, Information Technology, or any Trade.
To be eligible for The Matteson Scholarship, students or working adults must live in the Iowa counties of Lee, Des Moines, or Henry. The Matteson Scholarship also accepts scholarship applications from graduates of Wapello Senior High in Louisa County. The deadline to complete the online application for the Matteson Scholarship is May 4, 2021. For more information and to access the online application, visit mattesonscholarship.org.
