Students in Fairfield Community elementary schools have been dressing up all week for Red Ribbon Week, which is about teaching children the benefits of staying away from drugs and alcohol. Students in Fairfield Community elementary schools have been dressing up all week for Red Ribbon Week, which is about teaching children the benefits of staying away from drugs and alcohol. Today?s theme at Pence Elementary was ?scare drugs away,? and students were encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes to school. The four students pictured all dressed as Star Wars characters. They are, from left, Ella Welch as Princess Leia, Dumo Dube as Darth Vader, Seth Flynn as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ezra Welch as R2-D2.
