McMahon offering swimming-skills class
The Fairfield Park and Recreation Department will offer a swimming-skills class from 1:30-2:30 p.m. beginning April 30 and continuing Tuesdays and Thursdays through May 7 at the Roosevelt Aquatic Center.
The class is for novice or experienced swimmers who want individual guidance to improve swimming technique.
Instructor Jane McMahon asks participants to bring goggles, as well as and swim caps for women.

The Fairfield Park and Recreation Department will offer a swimming-skills class from 1:30-2:30 p.m. beginning April 30 and continuing Tuesdays and Thursdays through May 7 at the Roosevelt Aquatic Center.

Instructor Jane McMahon asks participants to bring goggles, as well as and swim caps for women.
The class is $30 per session. All proceeds from the class will go toward the new commuity outdoor pool and gym project. McMahon recently donated nearly $800 from two earlier swimming-skills sessions.
