McReynoldses celebrate 60th wedding anniversary

Bob and Mary Ann McReynolds of Richland will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary May 24.

Bob McReynolds and Mary Ann Gillis were married May 24, 1953, at Richland Friends Church in Richland, with the Rev. Esther Figgins presiding.

Mr. McReynolds retired in 1996 from the Jefferson County Hospital maintenance department. Mrs. McReynolds retired in 1994 from the hospital, where she had worked as a certified nursing assistant.

The McReynolds have six children: Linda Mickels and husband Tim, Bev Topping and husband Steve, Chris Hesseltine and husband Lon and Patricia McReynolds, all of Richland; Jean Blake and husband Bill of Oskaloosa and Bob McReynolds and wife Sandy of Hedrick.

They also have 14 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
