?Meet the Players? night scheduled for Aug. 19

The schedule for the 2016 Mt. Pleasant ?Meet the Players Night? has been announced. The event will take place on Friday, Aug. 19, one week before the Panthers? first football game.

The event will begin at 6:30 p.m., with the Mt. Pleasant Athletic Booster Club serving meals. That will be followed by player introductions at 7:15 p.m.

After the introductions, the fans will get their first look at the football teams, starting with the freshman offense and sophomore defense at around 7:30 p.m.

The sophomore offense will then take on the freshman defense at 7:45 p.m. The varsity kicking game will take the stage at 8 p.m.

The varsity offense, along with the varsity and JV defenses, are scheduled to be on the field at 8:15 p.m.
