Meet the Trojans night scheduled Thursday

Fairfield will host its annual Meet the Trojans night at Fairfield High School Thursday evening.

A parent meeting for athletes involved in FHS fall athletics is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. in the gym.

Players and coaches for all fall athletic events including football, volleyball, cross country, swimming and cheerleading will be introduced to parents, fans and community members. Team pictures will begin at 6 p.m. with team introductions in Trojan Stadium to follow at approximately 6:30 p.m.

Volleyball scrimmages will then run 6:40-8:30 p.m. in the gymnasium. Football scrimmages will be 7-8 p.m. in Trojan Stadium.

In addition, the After Prom Committee will be raffling off tickets for the ?Best Seats in the House!? Tickets are selling at $5 each or $20 for five tickets. The winning ticket will receive reserved stadium seats for four on the 50-yard-line next to the press box at the first home football game Sept. 7.

A watermelon feed will conclude Meet the Trojans night at 8 p.m.

Registration and equipment check-out for the Fairfield Youth Football League ? open to fifth- and sixth-graders ? will run from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the weight room behind the high school.
