Melchers 50th wedding anniversary Saturday
Sonny and Janet Melchers will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday.
Sonny Melchers and Janet Hawk were married Oct. 20, 1968, at First United Methodist Church in Fairfield.
Mr. Melchers is a semiretired farmer and a retired postal employee. Mrs. Melchers is a retired postal employee.
The couple's children, Michelle of Cedar Rapids, and Tiffany of Vilas, North Carolina, recently joined them on a trip to Hawaii.
