Washington County Extension?s Clover University?s Messy Science Sensations Day Camp kept 27 kindergarten and first-grade students entertained, enthused and learning on June 30. Students enjoyed all things messy ? slime, lava lamps, elephant toothpaste, and bubbles.
Throughout the day campers had the opportunity to build the tallest marshmallow tower, explore pressure differences, and test ways in which sodium poly absorbs water.
Summer Day Camps are offered each year for youth pre-kindergarten to fifth grade. Contact the Washington County Extension office for more information at 319-653-4811.
