Michael Witt

Michael Witt is a senior at Washington High School and a member of the Jackson Jets 4-H Club. He is the son of Pam and Fred Witt, and he has one sibling, Austin.

As a 4-H'er, Michael has participated in rabbits, outdoor adventures, woodworking and dairy. He has been vice president of the Jackson Jets, a speaker at the State Fair, and he has participated on Recreation Committee, Camp Retreat, and Community Service projects.

Winning the 4-H Dodge Ball Tournament is a special 4-H highlight.

?I learned interpersonal skills throughout 4-H that have helped me develop as a person,? Witt said. ?Kids should join 4-H to get involved in county activities, participate at the fair, and most of all, have fun.?

Michael has also participated in Leadership Washington, Silver Cord, National Honor Society, Hills Bank Youth Salute, honor roll, baseball, and wrestling.

He plans to attend the University of Iowa and major in business
