Mid-Praire succeeds at state speech contest

Mid-Prairie?s Speech team had an outstanding day at State level Large Group Speech contest Saturday, Feb. 6, at Cedar Rapids Kennedy. Group Improv with Rhett Leonard and Anna Yoder received an overall ?I? rating. Both Ensemble Acting groups ?The Blueberry Hill Accord? with Ciana Carr and Aleigha Gugel, and ?How to Succeed in High School without Really Trying? with Abby Pickard, Hannah VanRoekel, Maizy Fugate, Elijah Meader, Anna Yoder and Isaac Yoder received perfect I-I-I ratings. The One Act Play ?Selfie? with Aleigha Gugel, Abby Pickard, Ciana Carr, Taylor Hillbrand, Rhett Leonard, Josh Fox, Isaiah Sents, Sawyer Black, Isaac Yoder and Lillian Radeboldt-Hopper not only received a perfect I-I-I rating, but has also been selected to receive All State honors Feb. 20 in Iowa State University in Ames.
