Mid-Prairie FFA students earn top honors at state fair

Mid-Prairie FFA was well represented during the FFA Floriculture competition judged Thursday, August 10, at the 2023 Iowa State Fair. The school took home both the top individual honor and was the top chapter at the event.

The event featured 65 exhibitors and more than 700 flowers. Brock Fisher of Mid-Prairie FFA won the Award of Excellence.

Trell Amos of Albia FFA, Albia earned the Sweepstakes Trophy, and Chloe Zittergruen, Tri-County FFA, Thornburg, claimed the Showing Contest award.
