Mid-Prairie Jazz Band heads to state for fourth straight year
The Mid-Prairie High School Jazz Band placed second in Class 2A at SEIBA District Jazz Contest on Saturday, and will be going to the Iowa Jazz Championships for the fourth year in a row. The Iowa Jazz Championships will be held in Des Moines on Tuesday, April 8. Mid-Prairie will be one of 15 class 2A bands from across the state to compete at the Iowa Jazz Championships.
