Mid-Prairie Large Group Speech Team sends eight groups to state

Nine Mid-Prairie Large Group Speech Groups competed Saturday, January 21 at Keota High School for the Iowa High School Speech Association's District Large Group Speech Contest.
Eight of the nine groups earned division 1 ratings, with the one group earning a division 2 rating. The groups earning a division 1 rating will now advance to IHSSA State Large Group Contest at Cedar Rapids Washington High School on Saturday, Feb. 4.
Earning Division 1 Ratings at District Large Group Speech Contest:
Readers Theatre - Bullies Anonymous - Christopher Burnham, Harlie Gehling, Isadora Goode, Logan McClellen, Jeremiah Rempel, Caroline Schrader.
Ensemble Acting - Amanda Freezes Time - Isabelle Duvall, Harlie Gehling, Isadora Goode, Abrielle Kraus, Daniel Rodgers, Diego Sanchez.
