Mid-Prairie speech team to compete at state

Mid-Prairie?s speech team competed at District Level Large Group Speech contest Saturday, Jan. 23 at Wapello. Four of the team?s seven entries received ?I? or ?overall I? ratings and will be competing at State Contest Feb. 6 at Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids.

Entries going on to compete at State are: One Act Play "Selfie" with Aleigha Gugel, Abby Pickard, Ciana Carr, Taylor Hillbrand, Rhett Leonard, Josh Fox, Isaiah Sents, Sawyer Black, Isaac Yoder and Lillian Radeboldt-Hopper; Group Improv with Rhett Leonard and Anna Yoder; Ensemble Acting ?The Blueberry Hill Accord? with Ciana Carr and Aleigha Gugel; and Ensemble Acting ?How to Succeed in High School without Really Trying? with Abby Pickard, Hannah Van Roekel, Maizy Fugate, Elijah Meader, Anna Yoder and Isaac Yoder.
