Lucas James, Fairfield High School Class of 2009 graduate, has completed his seven-month training in Great Lakes, Chicago and in the Dam Neck Base at Virginia Beach.
He graduated first in his class and will now serve in the United States Navy Reserves for the next six years while continuing his education in Iowa.
James is the son of Diane and Lewis Denbaum of Fairfield.
