Mission trip fundraiser
Members of the First Baptist Church youth mission team: the Rev. Members of the First Baptist Church youth mission team: the Rev. Chris Paul, youth leaders Jason Crandall and Mark Copeland and students Chance Crandall, Sage Crandall, Chris Workman, Jacob Copeland, Cody Matthis, Darren Roberts and TJ Rankin, Saban Simons and Joshua Sissler who are not in the photo, will be hosting a fundraiser from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Pizza Hut. They are raising money to fund a mission trip. The group will be traveling to Muskogee, Okla., where they will be serving at the Murrow Children?s Home doing various jobs including painting, replacing windows and floors and yard work. All members going are part of the youth praise team at First Baptist, so they also will be leading worship for the children there as well as leading some Bible studies.
