Mobile unit draws 65 pints of blood at two area drives
The Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center mobile unit recently drew several pints of blood at area drives.
Forty pints of blood were drawn Sept. 4 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds Activities Building.
Twenty-five pints of blood were drawn Sept. 5 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds Activities Building.

The Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center mobile unit recently drew several pints of blood at area drives.
Forty pints of blood were drawn Sept. 4 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds Activities Building.
Twenty-five pints of blood were drawn Sept. 5 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds Activities Building.
Donors can give blood every eight weeks. According to the blood center, one pint of blood can help save the lives of up to three patients, and one out of every five people entering a hospital will need blood products.
