Monster Mash run/walk set in New London

The seventh annual Holiday Stroll Monster Mash 5K Run/Walk is planned at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 19, in City Park in New London.

Registration begins at 4 p.m.

Several age divisions are available: 12 and under; 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over.

Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place in each age bracket.

A costume contest is planned before the race.

All proceeds from the event go to the Holiday Stroll.
