More Christmas gatherings in the Crawfordsville area

The Scott Davis family met for Christmas at the family home on Sunday, December 22, 2024. The afternoon was spent playing cards and various games. A multitude of presents were opened by the children and the adults had their usual game of opening gifts. After a walking taco supper, BINGO was played where many white elephant prizes were won.

The evening ended with the annual picture of the grandparents with the seven grandkids.

Those in attendance were Scott and Jeanne Davis, Crawfordsville; Ryan and Carman Davis, Peyton and Paxton, Wayland; Marcus and Brittany Davis, Makinley, Brysen and Merrick, Mt. Pleasant; and Chis, Angela, Chayse and Alayna McClain, Columbus Jct.

The following day was Angela's birthday and it was celebrated with red velvet poke cake.

The McElhinney and Penfield household (Tony and Penny) hosted their son, Kyle Penfield and his family, Kelli, Kylee, Kynlee and Kayden of Olds, their daughter, Lyndsey Beyer and her husband, Robert and son, Maxwell of Mukilteo, WA and their daughter, Jaxon Penfield and her boyfriend, Justin Kinney and their son, Porter of Laramie, WY.

Also joining the crew were Penny's parents, Lynn and Maxine Bender of Mt. Pleasant. They all enjoyed being together Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at the McElhinney home.

Wayne and Debbie Lowe hosted dinner guests on Christmas Day.

Present were Renee Lowe from Cheyenne, WY, David and Paula Trevitt from Mediapolis and Adrian Brisky from Crawfordsville.

Cathy Williams joined other family members Christmas Eve at the home of Mike and Jacki Williams in Washington. Others present were Alic Williams, Grant Williams and Sergio Delgado of Washington. Amy and Jason Wahlert of Prairie City and Morgan Wahlert, Kade Cunningham and Kade Wahlert.

A Christmas morning brunch was enjoyed at Cathy's by the Wahlert's and Kade Cunningham.

Those enjoying Christmas dinner and a gift exchange on Saturday, December 28 at the home of Carolyn Love were Sonya Love-Smith and Audrey, Maggie and Tyler Robertson, Kinsley, Noah and Alyvia, Betsy, Jesse and Preston Lasek, Wes, Lawson and Isaac Love, Jamie, Kamlyn and Kylee Brames and Jamie's nephew, Theo and Bruce Davis.
