MP Community Band concert to be held Thursday

The Mt. Pleasant Community Band will be performing on Thursday, June 27, at 7 p.m., in Central Park.

Highlight will be the selection The Carnival Of Venice featuring trumpet soloist Josh Morey, an alumnus of the Mt. Pleasant High School Band and a recent graduate of Iowa Wesleyan University who has accepted the position as the grades 5-12 band instructor in the Central City Community School District.

Guest conductor for this concert will be Dave Adams.
