MP seventh-grade football squashes Mediapolis

The Mt. Pleasant seventh-grade football team flexed its muscle on Tuesday night, beating up on Mediapolis 30-6.
The Panthers had a huge game defensively, sacking the quarterback six times. Harmon Ensminger had three sacks to lead the way. Ben Newton had two, and Logan Borders finished with one.

The Mt. Pleasant seventh-grade football team flexed its muscle on Tuesday night, beating up on Mediapolis 30-6.
The Panthers had a huge game defensively, sacking the quarterback six times. Harmon Ensminger had three sacks to lead the way. Ben Newton had two, and Logan Borders finished with one.
Nate Dismang had a fumble recovery in the win. Carson Andreasen had an interception.
Payton Hagans had two touchwons on offense, and connected with Newton twice on two-point conversion attempts. Mason Sloat scored two touchdowns. Payson Coleman and Jurha Turner both had one two-point conversion.
Coach Colton Martin named Hagans the offensive MVP for the game, and Ensminger the defensive MVP.
