MPMS girls attend Careers in STEM conference

Mt. Pleasant Middle School eighth-grade girls attended a Careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Conference at Southeastern Community College in West Burlington on Tuesday, May 21.
Twenty girls attended different classes including Computer Coding, Criminal Investigation and Insect Zoo. Jennifer Stater, honors English teacher, and Dr. Joanna Settles, eighth-grade science teacher, accompanied the students.
