Mr. and Mrs. Roger Elliot set to celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Roger and Norma Elliott, of Libertyville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, Feb. 19, 2016.

Norma Casteel and Roger Elliott were married on Feb. 19, 1966, at the Methodist church in Unionville, Mo., with Rev. Joseph Cooper presiding.

Roger retired from the Iowa Department of Transportation, Fairfield Maintenance Department, in 2008, Norma retired as assistant facility manager for Tenco Industries in 2010.

The couple has three children, John (Sharlene) Elliott, of Libertyville; Linda Villeda, of Des Moines; and Harry (Monica) Elliott, of Fairfield. They also have 11 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A family dinner is being planned for a later date.
