Mt. Pleasant Community High School helps students plan for life after high school

Feb. 14, the Mount Pleasant Community High School Student Services office is hosting a career and college planning and financial aid night for students and their parents in the media center. A representative from the Iowa College Access Network® (ICAN) will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.

Career & College Planning will be held at 6 p.m. for high school juniors and their parents. Topics to be covered include the admission process and requirements, understanding costs/the cost of attendance, successful transitions to college and more.

Understanding Financial aid will be held at 7 p.m. for seniors and their parents. Topics will include finding and applying for scholarships, grants, student loans and filling out the FAFSA form.

The school asks that students bring their laptop.
