Mt. Pleasant Community Theatre hosting free directing seminar

The Mt. Pleasant Community Theatre invites all interested people (beginners or veterans in theatre, high school age and up) to a free directing seminar with instructor Dave Brown.

Brown will teach the community the ins and outs of putting together a theatre production in the community theatre setting. From running auditions and casting, to blocking, to bringing the play to life with a vision and everything in between.

The free seminar will take place at Iowa Wesleyan University and be held in classroom 300 on the second floor of Old Main on the campus. It is handicap accessible with an elevator. The class will take place on Saturday, Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break at noon.
