Mt. Pleasant dentist receives prestigious Fellowship Award

Mount Pleasant — The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) announced that Adam Shroyer, DDS, FAGD, of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, received the prestigious Fellowship Award. The celebration recognizes the commitment of AGD members to excellence in dental education. During the event at the AGD’s scientific session on Saturday, July 12, 2025, in Montréal, QC, Dr. Shroyer accepted this award along with 224 general dentists receiving this award.

The Fellowship Award is presented to dentists who strive to provide the highest quality of dental care by staying current in their profession. To receive this award, Dr. Shroyer completed 500 hours of continuing dental education, passed a comprehensive written exam, and fulfilled three years of continuing membership with the AGD. As a recipient of this award, Dr. Shroyer has joined an elite group of more than 20,225 members of the dental community who understand that great smiles and good oral health for their patients are the result of going above and beyond basic requirements. The Fellowship Award represents excellence in the dental profession and a dedication to providing exceptional patient care.

Dr. Shroyer graduated from the University of Iowa in 2015 and currently practices dentistry in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. In addition to the AGD, Dr. Shroyer is a member of the American Dental Association, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics.
