Mt. Pleasant High School offers programs on life after high school

Mt. Pleasant High School is hosting a series of programs to help students prepare for college and prepare for life after high school.
The school will host a class on “Free Help With FAFSA!” from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at the media center. Students should bring their laptop, and to attend with their parents.
Also on Feb. 28, at 6 p.m., the media center will host “Free Career and College Planning Assistance for Students and Parents.” A representative from ICAN will provide a free presentation on planning for life after high school for students and their parents. The class will cover:

Application Process
Understanding Costs – Cost of Attendance
Scholarships
Successful Transitions to College
Lastly, the school will host a college enrollment student and parent meeting over Zoom at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 2. Attendance is mandatory for students that have not taken a college class or attended a meeting.
