Mt. Pleasant Kiwanis donates to 4-H SWITCH program

The Mt. Pleasant Kiwanis Club recently donated $1,500 to the 4-H SWITCH program. The program is an innovative initiative designed to support and enhance school wellness programming.
The program is for 4th and 5th grade students in the Mt. Pleasant School District. The 4-H program, SWITCH (School Wellness Integration Targeting Child Health) is under the auspices of the Iowa State Extension.
On hand for the presentation were, Kiwanis member Erin Heaton and Sadie Martin both from the Iowa State Extension Office, Kiwanis Club Treasurer, Tammy Alliman and Kiwanis President, Dr. Matt Donnolly.
