Mt. Pleasant Library ramping up for April events for children
On Tuesday, April 12, the Mt. Pleasant Public Library will be holding an all-day story hour.
Being held from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., local volunteers and library staff will be on hand to read aloud to local children of all ages.

On Tuesday, April 12, the Mt. Pleasant Public Library will be holding an all-day story hour.
Being held from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., local volunteers and library staff will be on hand to read aloud to local children of all ages.
The library is still in need of some volunteers to read. Adults that would like to volunteer as a reader for a 30-minute session should contact Brittany, the Mt. Pleasant Library Youth Services Librarian, at 319-385-1490.
In addition to the April 12 all-day story hour, the library will hold Youth Craft Day for local youth on Wednesday, April 13.
Three one-hour sessions will be held at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 5:30 p.m., at the library. Participants will be decorating food jars and planting something to grow in each jar.
During the craft day, parents are asked to stay with their children for the event.
