Mt. Pleasant students receive various Indian Hills scholarships

Five Mt. Pleasant-area residents have been awarded Indian Hills Community College scholarships for the 2015-2016 academic year. The students and the scholarships they will receive include:

-Justin Doscher- AERO Club Scholarship

-Raeanna Crile- Culinary Arts Club Scholarship

-Tommy Pham- Culinary Arts Club Scholarship

-Dilan Zilliox- Renewable Energy Club Scholarship

-Jennifer Garmoe - Rick Johnson Memorial Scholarship

The Indian Hills Foundation was created with the goal of providing scholarships to help deserving students enhance their lives through college education. Since 1975, more than 17,000 students have been awarded nearly $15 million.

Last year, 550 students received nearly $1.1 million in scholarships from the Indian Hills Foundation.
