Mt. Pleasant students selected to All-State
The All-State Music Festival in Iowa will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2021.
District auditions for the All-State band, orchestra and chorus were held on Oct. 23 at locations across the state. About 17 percent of students who audition are selected.
Participants will rehearse in Ames on Nov. 19-20 before performing the Festival Concert at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 20 in Hilton Coliseum on the campus of Iowa State University in Ames. Iowa Public Television will record the concert for re-broadcast.
