Mt. Pleasant to host blood drive Friday

The Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant will host a community blood drive with ImpactLife, the provider of blood components for local hospitals.

The blood drive will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24 at 407 S. White St., inside Health Education Center.

Donor Eligibility Criteria: Potential donors must be at least 17 years of age (16 with parental permission form available through www.bloodcenter.org) and weigh more than 110 pounds. A photo I.D. is required to donate.

Individuals with diabetes or controlled high blood pressure may be accepted as eligible donors.
