Mt. Pleasant to host college planning meeting

The Mt. Pleasant High School counseling office has invited a representative from ICAN to provide a free Zoom presentation on planning for life after high school for sophomores, juniors and their parents on Thursday, March 10 at 5 p.m.

Topics will include: Career Exploration & Assessment, Academic Preparation & Requirements, Admission Process & Requirements, College/Training Program Selection, Financial Aid Process, Understanding Costs - Cost of Attendance, Scholarships Process, Where to Go For Help, Students/Parents

That same night at 6 p.m., the high school is hosting a Zoom meeting on College Class Enrollment with students and parents.

Any student who has not taken an online/onsite college class needs to attend with a parent/guardian in order to be able to register for college classes for the fall semester or future semesters.

The zoom link will be posted on Facebook and sent to students email.
