?Early on here, we knew we had a good young group of kids that were really aggressive,? said Mt. Pleasant coach Anthony Blint after the win. ?(They are) always working hard in the room and it really showed.?
Coach Blint also praised how the younger kids on the team were able to step up and fight in their first varsity action.
?No one gave up at any time,? Blint said. ?As a coach, that?s great. When you start (some) freshman and they all keep fighting. That?s awesome to see.?
Mt. Pleasant will next be in action at a tournament in Wapello on Saturday, Dec. 3. That meet will begin at 10 a.m.
