Mullikin family reunion held
The 81st Mullikin reunion was held Aug. 20, at the Rubio Community Center.

Those attending were: Ray and Eileen Mullikin of Muscatine, Melvin Harry Mullikin of Packwood, Steve and Rose Jaynes of Brighton, Glen and Betty of Williamsburg, Henry and Marilyn Dannettel of Lawton, Willis and Marjory Mullikin of Fairfield, John and Linda Mullikin of Batavia, Alan and Sheryl Mullikin of Le Grand, Carole Mullikin of Fairfield, Joe and Carol Royer of Burlington, John S. and Tracy Mullikin and Anna of Batavia, Diane Keller of Fairfield, Denise Weirup and Krystal of Fairfield, Laura Mullikin of Batavia, Jonathan Ramos of Batavia, Joshua Ramos of Ottumwa, Matthew and Courtney Mullikin of Agency, Ruth Mullikin of Ainsworth, and Wesley Mullikin of Brighton.
Following a potluck lunch, Alan and Sheryl Mullikin gave a slide presentation of their mission trip to Alaska, and Laura Mullikin showed slides from her work-related trip to Crathes Castle in Scotland. An auction was held to continue raising funds for the restoration of family tombstones.
