Fifty-seven couples enjoyed in the special Mummy Son Monster Mash Halloween party held Saturday night, Oct. 19, on the fairgrounds, hosted by a 4-H County Council.
The event was open to the public for any kindergarten-fourth grade boy and the special mummy in his life. All kinds of Halloween costumes could be found with their special ‘mummy' - mothers, grandmothers, aunts, adult sisters, neighbors were invited. Each couple posed at the photo booth and were able to take home a framed keepsake photo. This night of special memories included dancing, refreshments, games, Halloween cookie decorating and more
Proceeds from the event will be used in other 4-H hosted events in the coming year and as scholarships to 4-Hers attending special 4-H events.
